ACAP - Academy of Clinical and Applied Psychoanalysis
The Master of Arts in Psychoanalysis
A program of study in human motivation, analytic thinking, and active listening.
In 2003 ACAP affiliated with Centenary College to establish the first Graduate Department of Psychoanalysis in
New Jersey. All classes are offered at ACAP, 301 South Livingston Avenue Livingston, New Jersey 07039.
The success of our first three years indicates a demand for this unique educational opportunity. Upon
completion of the Master of Arts degree, students may apply for acceptance, with advanced standing, to ACAP’s
clinical certificate program. For either program students may enroll in a single course, or register as a
matriculating student. ACAP students come from many fields where skilled analytic skills are needed, including:
Education, Human Resources, Medicine, Mental Health Professions, Journalism, Government and Politics, Law
Enforcement, Corporate Leadership, Parenting, and more.
